STAR WARS 1/17SCALE RESIN KIT

Kit Price – $480.

The T-70 X-wing starfighter, also known as the T-70 X-wing fighter, was the successor to the T-65B X-wing starfighter, manufactured by Incom-FreiTek Corporation for use by the New Republic Defense Fleet.

Faster and more expensive and complex than the former T-65B, the
T-70 featured advanced weaponry and proved more versatile than its
predecessor, and was essential in both dogfights and capitalship scale combat operations. Appropriated S-foils designs allowed a greater range of fire, while four KX12 laser cannons offered single, dual, and quad firing modes. A built in dual proton torpedo launcher with quick-change magazines permitted the utilization of alternative armaments. New Republic demilitarization
efforts and corruption would ultimately see production of the vessel
shifted to several well-connected manufacturers. The T-70 would be
eventually replaced by the newer T-85 X-wing.

Following its retirement from service in the New Republic Starfleet, the T-70 became the frontline starfighter of the Resistance in its fight against the First Order approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor.

Star Wars T-70 X-Wing

1/17scale 3D Model

Modeled from screen grabs form the movies and detail taken from the full size mock up, this is the T-70 every Star Wars fan or collector must have.

1/17 scale Prototype T-70 X-Wing Model by DDC.
For more build info please click on the image to go to the Modeler Magic page

Being 1/17 scale makes it perfect to scale with any 3.3/4 inch action figure (1/17 – 1/18 Scale)

I recommend using the Force link Poe character helmet together with the
Legacy Luke as the pilot or ordering a 1/18 scale Pilot from Shapeways

Consisting of cast parts, FDM printed parts as well as direct resin printed parts it will be a medium experience build with the main sections slotting into one another as well as parts being screwed together.

As mentioned above all my kits are designed to easily add lighting. There will be an option to add lighting to the wing blaster tips, they are hollow pipe. A wing mod will need to be done and once complete wing disassembly wont be possible. I have not done this mod on the Prototype kit.
